There's another winner of a Royal Caribbean cruise thanks to the Georgia lottery.  Acquenella and Donald Gates of Covington, Georgia won the seven night Royal Caribbean cruise while playing the scratch-off game Royal Caribbean Cruise for Cash.

Acquenella bought the winning ticket at a BP food mart in Covington after getting some gas.

“About three more scratches and there was the ship sitting in the corner,” she said. “(Donald) got two pairs of glasses and two magnifying glasses, including one with a "light."

Interestingly enough, Acquenella bought the ticket when she forgot to run an errand so she stopped at the food mart where she bought the ticket.

“It was there waiting for me,” Gates said.

Dr. Kenneth Howard of Rome, Georgia won the Royal Caribbean Cruise for Cash May 31st drawing from the Georgia Lottery.  His windfall includes a seven-night cruise for two aboard a Royal Caribbean ship.

"I’m extremely excited. I’ve never been on a cruise before."

The Georgia Lottery allows players to enter a non-winning Cruise for Cash instant ticket into the Second Chance drawing for another chance to win a seven-night cruise aboard a Royal Caribbean ship. 

Howard says he will take his wife on the cruise with him, where they will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary next year.

Shane Nelson, of Kennett, Missouri, won a cruise vacation for two aboard a Royal Caribbean ship after buying a $5 "Missouri Lottery's 25th Anniversary Cruise" Scratchers ticket.

Nelson plans on taking his girlfriend on the cruise and was excited to spread the news of his winnings.

"I had to tell someone; I couldn't contain myself," he laughed, sharing that he next called his mother, who was "beside herself she was so happy" about his win.

Interestingly enough, Nelson had never been on a cruise before but will now have the chance to. His winnings are valued at more than $19,000 and include an ocean-view balcony stateroom, round-trip first-class airfare, deluxe hotel accommodations the night prior to the cruise, ground transportation to and from the ship, a new set of luggage, $1,000 onboard spending credit and $500 cash.
