Royal Caribbean's next cruise ship to be upgraded in drydock is Navigator of the Seas and there's quite a bit of changes coming to this ship. After receving lots of questions related to how where the changes are onboard the ship, we've compiled a list of the changes coming visually.
Deck 2
- Metropolis Theatre has been renamed to Royal Theater
- Staterooms added in lieu of Board Room
Deck 3
- Metropolis Theatre renamed to Royal Theater
- Dungeon club replaced with inside staterooms
- Photo & Art Gallery shrunk and staterooms take up old space
- Staterooms added to port side of ship
- Nutcracker Dining Room (Main Dining Room) renamed Sapphire Dining Room
Deck 4
- Metropolis Theatre renamed to Royal Theater
- Dungeon club (upstairs) replaced with specialty restaurant to be named later - UPDATE: This will be Sabor Modern Mexican.
- Coppelia Dining Room name changed to Sapphone Dining Room
Deck 5
- Ixtapa Lounge has been renamed Star Lounge
- Champagne Bar has been replaced by R Bar
- Guest Relations desk has been split up to include dedicated Shore Excursions desk
- Swan Lake Dining Room has been renamed Sapphire Dining Room
Deck 9
- Interior Staterooms (Category M) have been changed to Interior Staterooms with Virtual Balcony (Category J)
Deck 10
- Interior Staterooms (Category K, L) have been changed to Interior Staterooms with Virtual Balcony (Category J)
Deck 12
- Staterooms added around Spa & Fitness Center
- Royal Babies and Tots Nursery added; Living Room somewhat smaller
- Fuel Teen Disco renamed Teen Disco
- Back Deck removed for FlowRider support area
Deck 13
- FlowRider added
- In-line Track removed
- Navigator Dunes (mini-golf) moved to port side of ship
Deck 14
- Cloud Nine & Seven Hearts game rooms replaced by Izumi specialty restaurant
- 19th Hole replaced with Diamod Club (Diamond level Crown and Anchor Society Lounge)
